The foundations of Sultanlar Holding were laid by Mr. Sultan YILDIZ in Rize in 1945. Mr. Sultan YILDIZ, who initially brought together just the sales and marketing functions under the first company of the group, Sultanlar Pazarlama, and attracted consumers with different product groups of the manufacturers, extended increasingly the activity areas of the organization and moved the management center from Rize to Istanbul with his sons.

Selahattin and Şeref Yıldız, who worked with their father Sultan Yıldız at a busy working pace and made Sultanlar Pazarlama one of the most important distributors in Turkey, incorporated Tibet A.Ş. and Kenton Gıda Sanayi A.Ş. into Sultanlar Holding, enabling the organization to perform the production function, as well. Selahattin and Şeref Yıldız took over the management of the company after Sultan Yıldız, who never compromised ethical values, and worked with great patience and effort and played a leading role in achieving the existing strong position of Sultanlar Holding, passed away in 1979.

After Mr. Selahattin YILDIZ's death in 2001, Mr. Şeref YILDIZ continued to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Sultanlar Holding. Faruk Yıldız took over the position of Chairman of the Board of Sultanlar Holding after Şeref Yıldız's death in 2019. After Faruk Yıldız's death in 2022, Mücahit Yıldız continues his duty as the Chairman of the Board of Sultanlar Holding.

Carrying on its activities in its modern production facility of 80,000 m2 in Kurtköy with HACCP and ISO 9001 certificates and a distribution warehouse of 30,000 m2 in Samandıra with nearly 2,000 employees in total, Sultanlar Holding has the justified pride of being a leading company in many sectors in the country and exporting to 51 different countries abroad, and it is staying the course of its goal to be a regional power with determined steps. Having made considerable progress in institutionalization when Mr. Faruk YILDIZ and Mr. Mücahit Yıldız, the third generation representatives of Sultanlar Family, took over the position of Chairman of the Board and Vice Chairman of Board  respectively, Sultanlar Holding will carry itself into the next years and take its place in the international platform as an institution with 100% Turkish capital, with its staff, who are competent in their field, and believe wholeheartedly in their institution and success, and with its strong know-how, commitment to ethical values and successive steps to benefit the national economy.
